Clean Crawls recommendation

After excellent technical work from Washington Energy Savers, but with no ability to get them on the phone or by email, I turned to Clean Crawls. They called back immediately, have an estimator who finishes and prints out the estimate before he leaves the job, and their teams are well trained and very professional. They have now finished 3 separate jobs for me. Each time, they filled out all my rebate paperwork before they left the job and hVe it to me to submit to Repower. I would highly recommend them.

Quality has installed two ductless heat pumps for me. They did an excellent job, and Tori completed all the paperwork for my rebates with no followup from me. I would highly recommend them.

Super Duper guys

I had WA Energy Savers do a whole house upgrade on my house and they worked with Jet heating for my new ductless heat pump. They were a great team. They did something called air sealing, duct sealing and insulation around my home. My home is finally comfortable. I had Quality Heating and Clean Crawls come out for a bid but they were really expensive and not very responsive so the choice was easy. I would hire WA Energy Savers anytime.

Problem With Washington Energy Savers

I engaged Washington Energy Savers to do a home energy survey last November. At the time, RePower advertised a $350 rebate to the contractor to reduce the consumer's cost for the survey to $100, but the company owner told me RePower had run out of funds for this rebate, so my cost would be $450. I paid the $450 after they performed the survey. Based on the survey recommendations, I contracted with another RePower trade ally to have weatherization work done. At the end of the job, the contractor submitted the RePower rebate application. RePower contacted me to say the rebate would be reduced by $350 because that amount had been paid to Washington Energy Savers in connection with the original energy survey.Since it was clear that Washington Energy Savers had obtained the rebate after telling me it was not available, RePower interceded and got agreement from Washington Energy Savers to refund $350 to me to offset the rebate. It's been four weeks now and I've seen nothing from Washington Energy Savers; they don't return my phone calls and did not respond to the most recent e-mail about the matter.

There is a high demand for our services provided by WA Energy Savers. Rebates as many people realize take time to process as does a reimbursement for rebate related work. The demand for services reached a peak during a time that an advertised special was run in the newspaper by our Trade Ally Manager: Repower. The ad generated a greater demand for the services than anticipated which used up the available rebates creating some last minute confusion for whom was allotted a rebate. Mr. Anonymous was a last minute customer. Hence a little clarification needed with how the rebate was processed. Fortunately now there is another rebate towards the cost of an EPS audit so act soon before this rebate is gone. WA Energy Savers would be glad to assist.

Clean Crawls

I had Clean Crawls do my furnace duct sealing and insulation, and whole house air sealing. The whole thing was a very professional and positive experience. They answered their phone (not that usual I've found), Jared came out the next day, worked up the estimate in his truck and gave it to me before he left, and scheduled the work in less than a week. The crew arrived on time, did a pretty good job of covering everything in the basement, cleaned up well, and even managed to squeeze in some extra work that hadn't been discussed beforehand. They all seemed to have a great customer experience attitude. Other friends have used them and also highly recommend them.

Big difference in professionalism between contractors

So far, I've dealt with 4 contractors listed here. I'm impressed with the service and professionalism of Quality and Clean Crawls, but got tired of wondering what happened to Washington Energy Savers and MVP; there's a lack of follow-thru with both of them. I can't figure out why they went to the trouble of getting certified as trade allies when they act like they don't need the business.

WA Energy Savers Professional Services

WA Energy Savers is a full service home performance company. We've recently added staffing to our office which is open 8A-4P M-F in Port Orchard at 2497 Bethel RD SE. One or two BPI certified technical experts are normally available to assist during normal office times and frequently after hours. We are in customer homes daily auditing, providing estimates for improvements, solving problems and making suggestions to improve the quality and comfort of our neighbors homes. Most audits and inspections we peform result in a proposal from us when requested by the customer. Our mission is not to "sale" anything to a customer and alternately prefer to "offer" the best money saving suggestions for their budget that results in the best comfort combined with energy efficiency we are trained to provide. We have found that our rates for service are some of the best which creates some demand for our services. We apologize to any customer that doesn't feel we served them well enough.
